Collateral

Default Funds are collective clearing collateral formed by ITS LTD out of contributions of all Clearing Members and/or other persons.

The amount of a member's contribution to the Default Fund is 30 000 USD.

Contributions to the Default Funds can be made in US Dollars.

Details of the clearing account for the purpose of making contributions.

To secure the performance of clearing members' obligations under contracts to which Central Counterparty is a party, the risk management system establishes the requirement that clearing members deposit Collateral.

The following types of Collateral can be deposited:

[12.09.2024 8:30 am] Securities included in the list of Securities as Collateral Assets.

To record property as Collateral, funds must be transferred to the clearing bank accounts of Central Counterparty with the Settlement Organizations or securities must be transferred to the clearing member's securities account under the securities account of Central Counterparty with the Settlement Depository, per the following particulars:

Particulars for the transfer of collateral;
Central Counterparty monitors the sufficiency of a clearing member's Collateral securing performance of the obligations under contracts, based on the amount of the Collateral determined in the Available Funds Currency.
