Collateral
Default Funds are collective clearing collateral formed by ITS LTD out of contributions of all Clearing Members and/or other persons.
- The amount of a member's contribution to the Default Fund is 30 000 USD.
Contributions to the Default Funds can be made in cash (USD , KZT ) and securities.
The value of the currency and/or securities contributed to the Guarantee Fund is calculated taking into account a discount in accordance with the risk rates (Minimum Collateral Amount) and the exchange rate of the currency to the US dollar used by ITS LTD to value the collateral.
In order to promptly process the payment, we recommend that you register the Clearing Service Agreement with the foreign exchange control division of the bank through which you plan to make payments in advance.
- The lists of securities that can be contributed to the Default Fund;
- The list of currencies that can be contributed to the Default Fund;
- Details of the clearing account for the purpose of making contributions.
To secure the performance of clearing members' obligations under contracts to which Central Counterparty is a party, the risk management system establishes the requirement that clearing members deposit Collateral.
The following types of Collateral can be deposited:

To record property as Collateral, funds must be transferred to the clearing bank accounts of Central Counterparty with the Settlement Organizations or securities must be transferred to the clearing member's Trading account opened by the Settlement Depository, per the following particulars:
- Particulars for the transfer of funds;
- Particulars for the transfer of securities;
- Central Counterparty monitors the sufficiency of a clearing member's Collateral securing performance of the obligations under contracts, based on the amount of the Collateral determined in the Available Funds Currency.
