ITS trading volume reaches $1.9 billion in April

The international trading platform ITS recorded trading volume of $1.9 billion in April 2026.

Trading activity peaked at the end of the month: on April 27, volume topped $261 million – an all-time daily high for the platform. Over the course of the month, growth was driven by global market conditions, an expanding range of available instruments and a growing investor base following the addition of new brokers.

ITS investors executed more than 355,000 trades in April, compared to 365,000 the previous month.

The most actively traded instruments in April were equities and ETFs with primary listings on U.S. exchanges: Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bear 3X Shares (SOXS), ProShares Ultra Bloomberg Natural Gas (BOIL), Freedom Holding Corp. (FRHC), Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X ETF (SOXL), Nebius Group N.V. (NBIS) and Micron Technology, Inc. (MU).

In April, ITS extended its trading hours, moving the session open from 10:00 to 09:00 Astana time (UTC+5) – bringing the trading day to nearly 19 hours.

The platform's partner network also expanded: Kazakhstan-based broker Standard International Market completed its technical onboarding and became the 21st participant on the platform. Also joining the platform was IPS Capital – an asset management company registered at the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC), specialising in launching and managing ETFs.
