On a corporate action affecting ordinary shares of Alimera Sciences, Inc. (ALIM)

On June 21, 2024, Alimera Sciences, Inc. signed a merger agreement with ANI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. under which ANI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. will acquire Alimera Sciences, Inc. Alimera Sciences, Inc. stockholders will receive $5.50 in cash and one contingent value right (CVR, described in Contingent Value Rights Agreement) for each share they own. Transaction will effect if Alimera Sciences, Inc. stockholders approve it on the special meeting to be held on September 4, 2024. The transaction is expected to close on September 9, 2024.
