On a corporate action affecting ordinary shares of WestRock Company (WRK)

On September 12, 2023, WestRock Company signed a merger agreement with Smurfit Kappa Group plc to create a new holding company for the combined Smurfit WestRock. WestRock Company stockholders will receive $5 in cash and one new Smurfit WestRock share per each share of WestRock Company that they own. The merger is expected to close in the second quarter of calendar year 2024 if transaction is approved by stockholders on the special meeting of stockholders of WestRock Company to be held on June 13, 2024.
