ITS World and Shariah indexes deliver strong returns in 2024

The proprietary indexes of the international trading platform ITS – ITS World and ITS Shariah – achieved strong growth in 2024, outperforming many peers in a volatile global economic and financial environment. This performance reinforced their status as reliable investment benchmarks.

The ITS World Index, which tracks 50 stocks of leading global companies, grew by 18.9% in 2024. Its total return in U.S. dollars, including reinvested dividends, reached 20.3% annually. Top contributors to this growth included NVIDIA (+171.2%), Spotify (+138.4%) and Broadcom (+107.9%), driven by the rapid expansion of the technology sector.

The ITS Shariah Index, which comprises 30 stocks of international companies compliant with Shariah principles, delivered a total return of 19.3%, including dividends.

A major milestone for ITS in 2024 was the launch of the first ETF in Central Asia and the South Caucasus, based on the ITS World Index. Looking ahead, ITS plans to introduce an ETF linked to the ITS Shariah Index.

"The performance of the ITS World and ITS Shariah indexes underscores their competitiveness and potential to deliver high returns. With the launch of ETFs on ITS, investors can now easily capitalise on the growth of these indexes, whose performance surpasses that of many global peers," said Chingiz Kanapyanov, CEO of ITS.
