ETFs on ITS’s own indexes now available to international investors on Tabadul platform
Investors worldwide have gained access to exchange-traded funds tracking ITS's own indexes – the flagship ITS World and Shariah-compliant ITS Shariah, as well as ITS-developed Single Stock ETFs on international company shares through the digital platform Tabadul.
Tabadul is a hub for mutual access to equity markets across the Middle East and Central Asia, launched by Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) in 2022. The platform connects regional exchanges, including Kazakhstan's KASE and AIX, as well as stock exchanges in Bahrain, Oman and Armenia, enabling cross-exchange trading to enhance liquidity.
The ITS World ETF (ticker: ITSW) and ITS Shariah ETF (ITSS), created by ITS together with asset manager IPS Capital, are now available to millions of investors across member exchanges. ITS-developed Single Stock ETFs on shares of Apple, Nvidia, Tesla and other companies allow investors to purchase fractional ownership in high-value stocks for as little as one-hundredth or one-thousandth of their price.
"Listing ETFs tracking our unique indexes and Single Stock ETFs on the cross-border Tabadul platform marks a significant step in integrating Kazakhstan and Astana International Financial Centre into global financial markets. We are pleased that millions of new investors will now be able to trade our instruments," said ITS CEO Chingiz Kanapyanov.
ITS’s indexes regularly outperform their peers thanks to their unique structure. In 2025, ITS World gained 25.6%, while ITS Shariah rose 23.6%, compared to 16.4% for the S&P 500. ITS World comprises 50 shares of the world's largest international companies, while ITS Shariah includes 30 U.S. companies whose operations comply with Shariah principles.
